Based on age listed as 56 in 1930 census, and age 6 in 1880 census. Listed as age 51 in 1925 Iowa census. He was the son of Edwin T. JORDAN and Mary Ann ELLIS. Arthur Alonzo JORDAN married Nettie Elizabeth REESE, daughter of Edward REESE and Jane SWANCUTT, circa 1895; Based on 1910 census recording Arthur and Nettie having had been married for 15 years. May have married in Hawkeye, Iowa.

He was the son of Frederick William JORDAN and Mary J. PARKIN. Duane Fredrick JORDAN died on November 9, 1991 at Alhambra, Los Angeles County, California, United States of America, at age 93.

     Edwin T. JORDAN was born on March 16, 1842 at Chittenden County, Vermont, United States of America. He was the son of Alonzo JORDAN and Clarinda *UNKNOWN. Edwin T. JORDAN married Mary Ann ELLIS, daughter of Mark ELLIS and Mary WATTS, on December 7, 1871 at Albany, Green County, Wisconsin, United States of America. Edwin T. JORDAN died on June 19, 1902 at Evansville, Rock County, Wisconsin, United States of America, at age 60. He was buried on June 21, 1902 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Evansville, Rock County, Wisconsin, United States of America.

     Frances JORDAN was the daughter of Alonzo JORDAN and Clarinda *UNKNOWN. Frances JORDAN died before 1884. She married Warren HILL before 1884.

     Frank C. Uberta JORDAN was born on June 22, 1878 at Exeter, Green County, Wisconsin, United States of America. He was the son of Volney W. JORDAN and Minnie PRUCIA. Frank C. Uberta JORDAN married Fannie P. EVANS, daughter of Lewis EVANS and Mary *UNKNOWN, on June 29, 1902. Frank C. Uberta JORDAN died on August 6, 1981 at age 103.

     Fred JORDAN is the son of William Luverne JORDAN Senior and Imogene STONER.

     Frederick William JORDAN was born on February 12, 1863 at Exeter, Green County, Wisconsin, United States of America. He was the son of Alonzo JORDAN and Charlotte PARKER. Frederick William JORDAN married Mary J. PARKIN, daughter of Charles PARKIN and Annie E. STAMN, on November 27, 1883 at The Central House, Evansville, Rock County, Wisconsin, United States of America. Frederick William JORDAN married Elva RUCKLE in 1936. F.W. Jordan Rites Held Wednesday A.M.

F.W. Jordan, for many years a resident of Sully County, passed away at his home west of Onida Sunday (crossed out and Monday written in), May 13 (crossed out and 18 written in) 1942, following an illness of several months duration. Mr. Jordan has been under the care of doctors and nurses since late last fall, but it wasn't until the last two weeks that hope of his recovery was despaired of.

Recently both of his sons who live in Minnesota has visited him, and had returned home little knowing that they would be summoned here again so soon, by their father's death.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 11:00 o'clock, at the city auditorium, in charge of the Frahm Funeral Home, with Rev. Wallace A. Brough officiating assisted by Mr. Martin McGuire. Music was furnished by a quartet from the local church choir, with Mrs. M.A. Knox at the piano.

Mr. Brough paid a very fine tribute to the deceased, who had "fought a good fight and finished the course" and was willing and anxious to lay down the cares and trials of this life, which he had lived in so admirable a manner for almost eighty years.

Pall bearers were Wallace Fritz, Albert Lomheim, Joe McGuire, Ben Klingbiel, Howard Weischedel and Luther Miller.

Following the service here the body was taken to the old family home at Dayton, Wisconsin for burial in the family lot where Mrs. Jordan and a son are buried.

Mrs. Jordan, Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Jordan, and Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Jordan of Onida and Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Jordan, of Austin, Minnesota, accompanied the body from here.

Fredrick William, youngest son of Charlotte and Alonzo Jordan, was born in Green county, Wisconsin, near Monroe, February 12, 1863.

He had six brothers, all of whom preceded him in death. His only sister, who is past 82 years of age, survives him.

His father died when Fred was but eight years old. He was farm manager for his widowed mother when in his teen age.

In 1883 he was married to Mary Parkin, of Dayton, Wisconsin. Six sons were born to this union, one of them dying in infancy.

In 1898 the family moved to Darlington, and resided on a big stock farm until they decided to try their fortune in South Dakota, residing in Iroquois. In 1919 they moved to Sully county and improved the farm two miles each of Onida.

In his young manhood he united with the Methodist church of Dayton, Wisconsin, where he was very active in the Sunday school and church work. He also continued his activities in the Methodist church of Iroquois.

His wife, Mary, passed to her heavenly home in 1932 and for a few years he made his home with his sons.

In 1936 he was married to Elva Ruckle, and for three years they made their home at Hartford school, where he was greatly beloved by patrons and pupils alike. Since then he has resided eight miles west of Onida.

He is survived by his wife, 5 sons, Spencer, of Austin, Minnesota ; Duane, of Alhambra, California ; Harley, of St. Paul, Minnesota ; and William and Wesley, of Onida, and seventeen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

     George Wesley JORDAN was born on December 13, 1886 at Wisconsin, United States of America. He was the son of Lucius Orlando JORDAN and Angeline VEST.

     Harley P. JORDAN is the son of Frederick William JORDAN and Mary J. PARKIN.
