A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3, 2004, in Sandy Funeral Home for Wanda Jean Engle, who died Aug. 31 at age 71.

Wanda Jean Clark was born June 24, 1933, in Rochester, Minn. She served in the Navy. She moved in 1956 to Wood Village, in 1974 to Indiana and in 1975 to Troutdale. She worked at the Gresham Safeway for 18 years, retiring as bakery manager. In 1955, she married Donald C.

Survivors include her husband; daughters, Mary Daniels, Cheryl Wilson and Debbie Kreier; son, Don E; mother, Edosiah Ellis; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Remembrances to the American Cancer Society. She was buried on September 3, 2004 at Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, Multnomah County, Oregon, United States of America; Section Gg Site 595.
